ESPORTS FOR YOUTH AND YOUNG ADULTS.

Develop Skills and Leadership

with Video Games

Our Story.

Up until a couple of years ago, kids (and adults) played video games from their living room as entertainment primarily, and most parents probably got frustrated with the amount of time the kids were spending playing. Today, these same kids are playing while streaming, entering tournaments, and getting recruited to professional teams. All of these methods generate income for the players.

There are also several schools around the country with varsity Esports leagues and of these many are also providing sports scholarships very much like Baseball, Soccer, Football, or Basketball. Erskine College is one such school in SC that is providing this.

What Are Esports?

Esports is competitive video gaming. Games like Madden (football), Fifa (soccer), NBA2K (basketball) are some of the titles and create a natural team vs team, one on one competition. There are also other genres, such as First Person Shooters (FPS), Fighting games (FGC), and Multiplayer Online Battle Arena (MOBA). Titles here include Call of Duty, Overwatch, Fortnite, Tekken, CS:GO, League of Legends, and DoTA. Some of these are team based, others are one on one.

Tournaments with these game titles create an event where several people compete, while paying into a prize pool, and the winner takes home the prize. In a recently announced Fortnite World Cup, the top prize is valued at up to $3 million.

$3,000,000

Up to $3 million in prize money for First Place finishers, with additional prizes for other finalists.

Scholarships

Many accredited schools and universities, including Erskine College, participate in esports and offer scholarships.

13+ Years

Virtual Reload prepares and trains players as young as 13 years of age to compete at various levels.

Give Your Child an Edge With Esports

Virtual Reload’s primary goal is to bring students from about 13 yrs old on up through high school and guide them, coach them, teach them so that they can exit successfully. The after school program will teach coding and cybersecurity, along with coaching in video game play. We’ll have separate coaching outside of the program that can be paid for through memberships.

The leaderboard on the site will keep track of all of the different games and players stats for possible recruitment to a team. When a student has “graduated” from Virtual Reload and high school, they’ll have several options for growth:

1) Land a college scholarship in Esports

2) Get recruited to a professional team (one of which will eventually be sponsored by Virtual Reload)

3) Market their learned team skills, coding, and cybersecurity knowledge to gain employment in a tech field

4) Continue playing on their own while streaming and placing in tournaments to earn a solid income

About Us

Virtual Reload hosts video game tournaments and events and provides coaching to enthusiastic esports competitors.
